During this time of uncertainty and heartbreak, I wanted to reach out and let you know that I am taking the necessary measures and making the best decisions for everyone to ensure the wellbeing of our community.
While closely monitoring credible sources reporting on the pandemic that include the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention along with the World Health Organization my heart goes out to those who have been affected by the impact of the coronavirus.
I empathize with all of you during this difficult time as I am also facing challenges. As some of you might know, I have temporarily closed the doors to my salon to practice social distancing as a safety precaution. Safety is my number one priority and I wanted to reach out and let you know that Nova is taking extra measures to prevent further spread of the COVID-19 virus and continue to safely provide you products during this time.
- The distribution center staff has access to sanitized cleaning wipes to use in packaging areas to eliminate bacteria.
- There are hand sanitizers available throughout the distribution facility to ensure staff safety as its full purpose is to fight germs.
- The distribution center staff is offered sanitized disinfectant sprays in all workspaces which kill 99.9% of viruses.
- A firm sanitation schedule has been implemented to maintain a safe environment for all staff which I believe is necessary.
- We have restricted facility access to select staff, maintenance, and shipping employees and closely monitoring the premises.
- We have implemented full sanitation of workspace and equipment before and after staff shifts.
- Non-shipping employees are working remotely from home and staff is encouraged to stay out of the public for safety precautions.
- We have internal communication platforms that are easily available and accessible for all employees for support and help with any concerns.
I want to let you know that while following local health department guidance our distribution center and will be fulfilling your Nova orders as planned. Local shipping will continue until any new developments while international shipping may experience delays anywhere from 3-5 days. Some countries may experience longer delays in accordance with their import and export duties, fees, and security protocols.
