When it comes to waxing you want your client to have an exceptional experience. You want them to be fully satisfied with their results so they keep coming back. Using effective products that will produce remarkable results is key to achieving a happy customer.

Pre and post products are vital to accomplishing long-lasting results for your client.

I wanted to take this moment and let you know what products I like to use when waxing which I find helpful in my day-today.

Garnier Micellar Water

This is an all-in-one cleanser that’s powerful yet gentle on the skin and that’s why I like it. The micelles capture and lift dirt away easily and leave the skin clean and refreshed. I use this right before I begin a wax session.

Thayers Witch Hazel Astringent

This is a natural treatment formulated with aloe vera which I am a big fan of. It soothes, cleanses, heals and preserves the skin. Made of hamamelis virginiana (fun fact) extract and other natural ingredients. I use this anti-inflammatory balm post-wax session.

Desert Essence Tea Tree Oil Ointment

This is a blend of soothing essential oils and herbal extracts that helps relieve minor skin irritations which occurs with some clients. It provides cooling relief after waxing and moisturizes the skin leaving it hydrated. Just like Thayers, it’s an anti-inflammatory which is great as a post-wax product.
